Helping the mighty
conquer addiction

Shaun "Mighty" Mehal was known for his love of Star Wars, the Philadelphia Eagles, music, and the casino—and he could always be found wearing his white Pumas.

On the early morning of February 5, 2017, Shaun Mehal died from an overdose. Shaun had been drug-free for over two and a half years and was extremely active in the Lancaster recovery community (he was known by many in this community as “Mighty Mehal”).

Shaun helped countless young men and women as they battled their respective addictions. He had a tremendous impact on people in Lancaster. His love of helping others inspired The Mighty Mehal Fund, a memorial fund that will provide financial aid to those who wish to make the life changes necessary to overcome their addictions in a recovery/sober living/transitional living house in Lancaster.
